Celestial Bodies

"The roots of our souls, will forever be entwined"

Wrapped up vocals for "Celestial Bodies" last night. Our most introspective and emotionally raw song. Was quite a journey getting through this one, but we're closer now because of it, and can't wait for ya'll to hear it.

Also finished up "Breathe". Very close to the end now. Just 2 songs left, and on to mixing.

Recording Update....

"If you were my path in life, what's led me here?"

Worked our way through vocals for "Celestial Bodies" yesterday evening. Our "ballad", if you will. Sounds great so far. Just a couple fixes and add-ons and we'll be that much closer to completing our record. This song in particular required a few degrees more internal reflection... conjuring of past and current emotions and memories... it's there now.

Had been a few weeks since listening to this song. I'd wager it's the most fleshed out piece of music on our record. I won't spoil it, but there's a lot of great layers and textures throughout. Looking forward to mixing this one.

New song!

Finished (few kinks aside) the instrumental portion of our new song [#8] last night. Bit different than we're used to. A simple 3 riff, heavily blues influenced dirge. More to come.

Here's a video of us playing the early incarnation of "The Great Destroyer" from one year ago this month.... This will be the closer on our record.

NEW Music....

Finally! Started writing some new material. Been in the works for a while, but last night we started to really flesh it out and piece things together. HEAVY.

In the meantime....

Record update....

Wrapped up "The Great Destroyer". Sounds devastating. This record just keeps getting better. Just a couple more songs of vocals left, and on to mixing. Possible album title getting thrown around. We're going to see how it holds up in the coming days before announcing anything. More soon....
