Recording Update....
"If you were my path in life, what's led me here?"
Worked our way through vocals for "Celestial Bodies" yesterday evening. Our "ballad", if you will. Sounds great so far. Just a couple fixes and add-ons and we'll be that much closer to completing our record. This song in particular required a few degrees more internal reflection... conjuring of past and current emotions and memories... it's there now.
Had been a few weeks since listening to this song. I'd wager it's the most fleshed out piece of music on our record. I won't spoil it, but there's a lot of great layers and textures throughout. Looking forward to mixing this one.

New song!
Finished (few kinks aside) the instrumental portion of our new song [#8] last night. Bit different than we're used to. A simple 3 riff, heavily blues influenced dirge. More to come.
